BAMS
The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course at Sumandeep Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Waghodia is a full-time five and half year course with an internship. The course is offered by Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Waghodia.
The BAMS course covers the study of ancient Indian medical system, Ayurveda, which includes the knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, as well as surgery. The course curriculum includes subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics.
The eligibility criteria for the BAMS course is that the candidate should have passed class 12th examination with a minimum score of 50% of marks. The admission to the course is based on the NEET Entrance exam.
